According to its client - the City of Turin - this colony has vast dimensions: a building of more than 120 meters width which is structured by five four-storey wings. With its axial symmetry, round arches, arcades, and loggias it can be stylistically defined as Novecento. Its arcades and loggias are reminiscent to the baroque city planning of Turin which is characterized by arcades. The colony is named after the 25 anniversary of the marriage of King Victor Emmanuel III and Elena of Savoy.
