The first colony for children of the employees of the manufacturer of business products Olivetti was built in St. Jaques in 1936. Even when the typology of the five storey building is traditional the façade is not. The walls were clad with grey natural stone and structured by a ferroconcrete grid, which follows the storey ceilings and the mouldings of the windows.
